CTRPCV Scholarship
The CTRPCV holds fundraising social events throughout Connecticut and accepts donations for its CTRPCV Community Service Fund. In 2020, the CTRPCV Board of Directors decided to create a scholarship for CTRPCVs wishing to pursue graduate studies.
This special $2,000 scholarship is for returned Connecticut volunteers planning to enroll or already enrolled in a graduate program at university or college here in this state. It is being offered in furtherance of the mission and goals of Peace Corps, namely to promote world peace and mutual understanding between Americans and peoples elsewhere in the world.
Preference will be given to those seeking a graduate degree here in Connecticut in a field related to their area of service while volunteers, however applications not related to the area of service will also be considered. Returned volunteers planning to use their degrees overseas, either in their country of service or elsewhere, will be given additional consideration. Should there be no qualified applicants come from these groups, applications will be considered from returned volunteers from outside Connecticut who are planning to do graduate work in the State.
Applications received by May 1 will be considered for the following Fall semester. Deadline for applications for the Spring semester is September 1.
